Hi Friends,

Sometimes things are meant to be!  It’s sometimes hard to understand but i think there’s usually a reason.   Rachel’s maternity session rained out twice, maybe even a third time.  One of the times it didn’t even rain.  I’m sure Rachel might have thought i was a bit crazy rescheduling.    I feel like once in a lifetime occasions call for once in a lifetime quality portraits.  Each time i asked Rachel to hold out for some pretty sun and weather ; she didn’t bat an eye and just rolled with it. Almost a month after our original shoot date and boom…. the flowers are blooming, the light was perfect and it even warmed up a bit…. A few things that inspire me the most as an artist are light , color and capturing something that only happens maybe a couple times in your life….like maternity portraits.   Yesterday i had all three of the things that inspire me the most as an artist and i’m even luckier….. I had my gorgeous wife picking locations and poses with me… It’s crazy that this is our job but i love it!  We capture memories!  Here’s our favorites from the Burton maternity session…..
