Hi Guys,

Since it’s Throwback Thursday let’s throw it back a bit but not to far.  Back in March Janie and I metup with our friends Matt and Amber.  We’ve gotten to know these two over the years as we photographed their engagement, bridal and wedding portraits.  I was pumped when Amber called to book a few shoots.  First was a shoot she wanted to do to announce that they were expecting!  I love these shoots.  It’s such a secret and it’s an awesome way to make a big announcment.  Amber’s idea was to meet up and do a shoot with the two of them and their sweet pup Moose.  She wanted a few shots of just her and Matt and then a few shots with Moose holding some baby shoes.  The way they told their family they were expecting was with prints.  They had a handful of pictures printed out and they would hand them to members of their family.  First they would slide through the first couple pics of just Amber and Matt.  Then you’d look at a few more and realize that Moose was holding baby shoes and then a couple pictures later you see the sweet sign Amber made.  Well, lucky for us and all of you Matt recorded some of his family’s reactions to the pictures as they realized what was going on.  Scroll through our favorite images from this shoot and wait for a video at the end that will bring tears to your eyes.  Anytime i get tired or burned out with what i’m doing.  I go back and look at this video and remind myself that we are blessed with a job and a passion that can put tears in your eyes.
